This is the official page of the Republican Party in Chowan County, North Carolina. You are welcome regardless of your political affiliation to browse our site. We are a party committed to keeping the citizens of Chowan County informed about political, social, and economic matters. We believe in a smaller, more efficient government, "of, by,and for the people." Our goal is to open government proceedings to maximum public scrutiny, reduce taxes, and encourage our citizens to achieve their fullest potential, in an environment of freedom and personal responsibility.

Community Heroes
Our senior management challenges citizens to perform one volunteer activity a year as a team to help our communities. Our Community Heroes projects will involve a variety of projects that will enrich peoples’ lives, improve neighborhoods and provide assistance in crisis situations. We fully endorse the Habitat for Humanity Program in Chowan County.

Chowan County Republican Convention


The Chowan County Republican Committee will hold it’s annual convention beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday the 19th of March in the Lobby of the Chowan County Public Safety Center (305 W. Freemason St.)
The purpose of the convention is to elect county officers, members of the executive committee and delegates and alternates to the State Republican Convention, which will be held in Wilmington from the 3rd to the 5th of June.



The convention will be open to all, however only those delegates elected during the recent precinct meetings will be eligible to vote.
State Senator Louis Pate, District 5 (Greene, Pitt and Wayne counties) will be the keynote speaker.
